Our Leadership
Adam joined the Dayton Pool Management team in 2022 as Director of Operations. He was promoted to President and General Manager in 2023 after working closely with former President, Jeff Blume, who currently runs our Cincinnati Pool Management partner company. Adam entered the aquatics industry after a 20-year career in home improvement and retail management. He oversaw various teams holding managerial roles with Lowes, Home Depot, and Plant Essentials Inc. Adam’s expertise covered several departments including his specialized involvement with equipment manufacturers and tool companies. An avid outdoorsman and Eagle Scout, Adam is no stranger to problem-solving in even the most difficult environments and conditions.
Adam is a Dayton native after growing up in the Beavecreek area. He currently resides in Springboro, OH with his family. Adam holds his Certified Pool Operator (CPO®) certification from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) as well as a ServSafe® designation from National Restaurant Association. Adam has been awarded several distinctions through his tenure at Dayton Pool Management which include Customer Service & Retention Awards, Safety Awards, as well as The Pool Management Group’s coveted 4-Star Gary Binfield Business Award.
About Our Team
Dayton Pool Management provides pool management, lifeguard staffing services and pool maintenance services across greater Dayton and Miami Valley.
We operate in the following areas: Dayton, Springboro, Centerville, Beavercreek, Oakwood, Huber Heights , Tipp City, Vandalia, Kettering and surrounding areas.
Robert joined the Dayton Pool Management team in 2025 after a successful career in the residential and commercial pool industry. Also a Dayton native, Robert started as a pool technician and worked his way into expertise in repairs, maintenance and overall rehabilitation and renovation of aquatic facilities. Robert has been on all sides of pool construction from installation to operation. He is also a certified Leak Detection Specialist along with his years of professional plumbing, electrical and heating. Robert currently lives in Northwest Dayton with his family. He holds his Certified Pool Operator® (CPO) designation from the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance along with several other industry trainings.
Our Safety Advisors
As part of The Pool Management Group network, our customers and employees receive the expertise of our internationally renowned Safety Advisors, Dr. Tom Griffiths and the team at Aquatic Safety Research Group. Their expertise is instilled throughout our risk reduction practices and lifeguard training.
Dr. Griffiths was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and is a Paragon Safety Award winner for his water safety efforts. He has been awarded the National Recreation and Park Association Distinguished Aquatic Service Award for a lifetime achievement and designated a European Lifeguard Academy Friend of the Academy for significant contributions to preventive Lifeguarding. Dr. Griffiths has also been named to “Who’s Who in Aquatics- The Top 100”, and “Power 25- Top 25 most powerful aquatics professionals in the World”, by Aquatics International Magazine.
Dr. Griffiths has authored more than 300 papers that have been published in scientific, professional and popular journals. He is an external reviewer for the American Red Cross Swimming and Diving publications.
